First grade students are making a splash by creating a monarch butterfly way station!
First grade students at the Episcopal School of Baton Rouge are making a splash by creating a monarch butterfly way station for their school and maintaining that garden by weeding the flower beds each week during their recess time. It is hot and sweaty work, but they love making a corner of their campus beautiful for students and teachers and also ensuring that migrating monarchs have the nectar they need for their long journey to Mexico.
